Dr Nitin Garg
Dr Nitin Garg is a Senior Consultant Neurosurgeon at Bansal Hospital, Bhopal. He completed his residency from the prestigious NIMHANS, Bangalore. He was Assistant Professor at Bhopal Memorial Hospital and Research Centre, Bhopal for 7 years. He was instrumental in upgrading the department so that the patients get the best possible neurosurgical care in Bhopal. He then moved to Bansal Hospital, Bhopal, a 300 bedded superspeciality hospital where he set up an advanced Neurosurgical Centre with latest state-of-the-art equipments. He has 26 publications to his name in various national and international journals and has writted 2 chapters in two books.
Dr Nitin Garg believes in comprehensive care of the patients. He feels patients and their families need to be empowered with information and they should also be an important part in the decision making regarding various aspects of their medical condition.
He has been a faculty in various conferences. He organised the 11th ISNOCON at Bhopal in 2019. This was a huge success and had best attendance in history of ISNO. During this conference, there was an important session on “psycho-social aspects for the patients and their care givers”. This was a huge success in which about 50 patients and their relatives actively participated and expressed the issues faced by them. Motivated by this, the ground work for the BTSG Awareness Foundation was initiated. Dr Nitin Garg is an active Director looking after all the activities of the foundation.
Dr RK Panday
Dr Panday is a Senior Consultant Radiation Oncologist with more than 35 years of experience in managing patients with various malignancies. He has worked as a consultant at the Prestigious NP Cancer Institute at Rajkot and was Medical Director at Jawaharlal Nehru Cancer Hospital, Bhopal. He is now Senior Consultant Radiation Oncologist at Bansal Hospital.
Dr Panday has an active interest in academics and has been a faculty in and organiser of various CMEs and conferences. He was organising chairman of ISNOCON 2019, held at Bhopal in April, 2019. This was a landmark conference in history of Indian Society of Neuro-Oncology (ISNO). He is an active Director of the Foundation and believes in care beyond medicines.
Dr Renuka Garg
Dr Renuka is a practising Radiologist with special interest in Ultrasonography, especially in Women’s radiology. She is of opinion that alongwith managing the medical aspect, special attention should be given to the psychological aspect also. It is important to address these issues more holistically and in a concerted manner. She has herself volunteered to work for the foundation.
